To Kate Beal, responsibility hadn’t been at the forefront of her every-day life. Floating through college was a breeze with little-to-no effort put forth. She was popular—a sorority sister alumni who hadn’t yet explored her professional options. After all, Kate continued to work at a local sports bar even after graduating with no immediate plans of getting a “real” job.
