I enjoyed this book a lot. Jade and Declan are definitely my favourite couple in this series so far. I can’t wait for Ash’s book

Declan is swoony!!

“If you weren’t already my wife, I’d ask you to be my girlfriend.”

I love a good marriage of convenience trope and this one did not disappoint! Declan was so swoony, stepping in to help Jade when she needed him most. He came off as gruff and a bit of a loner after being burned by a woman in his past, but underneath it all he was just waiting for the right woman to give his heart too. Jade was determined to not let anything jeopardize her job, so she accepts Declan’s offer. While Declan falls for his wife and starts to embrace his feelings, Jade tries to push him away until she realizes she can’t deny it anymore. CJ Bloom and Connor Crais we’re both amazing narrating this book! They both conveyed the emotions of their characters and I thought they were perfect for this book!
