Publisher's Summary

Beast. Creature. Monster. Dangerous.

All of these things have been said about Gren. Willa doesn't believe it, though. She knows that monsters can sometimes come in appealing packages. She knows that for all of his snarls and fearsome appearance, he'd never hurt her. And she knows she has to get Gren away from the Icehome camp, because no one will ever see him as a person, not when he attacks all who come close. Not when he's tied and treated like an animal.

She's going to save him...or fall in love. Maybe both. Willa doesn't mind that he's a beast, as long as he's her beast.

Contains mature themes.

This one wasn’t my favourite

This one was okay but kinda dragged out and boring.

Another human female mates with another alien male. This time the male is a gladiator who was not born but created by science to fight he’s part human, part dragon shifter, part blue barbarian and maybe something else.

She is from the southern states and had a deadbeat family and when she saw how everyone was treating the “monster” tying him down. She decided to free him and leave the clan.

They try living off the land and they ate the cat people which I found really gross considering in past ice plant barbarian books we have come across them before one saved a human female & another time they helped one of the babies, they shouldn’t be food they should befriend them like the other aliens from the island. Then he killed a bunch of them and got injured and almost died until the human girl who became a healer in the last book came and saved him.

Then he started to resonate but because he was made they weren’t getting pregnant so they just kept matting which would be fun but they were tired and hungry literally only getting an hours rest before the need to mate hit them again. This was really dragging out. The healer had to help again. This book wasn’t my favourite, I usually love spice but theirs seemed painful and like a burden.

They really keep in character

Dear gods is the male narrator’s throat ok?
I love rubys books and I’ve read them before but the narrators definitely give it a something extra

so good

my favourite thing about these books is actually the fact that books 1 2 and 3 of the ice home series can be read out of order and spoil nothing more than the others would read them in order you get some of the background what's happening and reading them out of order you get a background of what's happening.

I like that in this one could damage mentally that is done to the characters it's very different than females upbringing was so different from a lot of the other girls. and I love the way they played around with residence for this one and the resolution to their residence.
I can't wait for the next book.
I would highly recommend
