About this listen
The incomparable Detective Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte is back - and now he must solve one of his most baffling cases.
When Bony sets out to investigate two bizarre murders at Wirragatta Station, deep in the Australian Outback, all the odds are against him. The crimes were committed a year before, the scent is now cold, and any surviving clues have been confused by a bumbling policeman.
As Bony gets closer to the trail, the mysterious murderer sets out to stop him. Can Bony stop the killer first?

emperor of the bush
If you love CSI, Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Piero, or any detective novel, you may truly enjoy meeting Arthur W Upfields Detective Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte.
Bony to his friends, I am sure he will wish you to be counted among his friends, is an Australian bush detective.
set in the 1930-1940 in the very harsh and versatile climate of Australia. Bonney pits his intellect on a very strange mystery of a strangler. Bonney uses the bush as his own personal crime lab with such mastery, he would put Grisham form the original CSI to shame. with patience unheard of in most detective and an eloquence that allows home to ingratiate into people lives. Nanking many to forget or overlook his half aboriginal have white heritage and to completely underestimate him.
I truly that the now gone Arthur W. Upfield for creating a charter that I truly admire and respect. Also for creating puzzles that will provoke you intellectually.
Peter Hosking has a truly soothing voice that is plsent and relaxing to listen to. As a voice actor he is fantastic. I look forward to hear is voice as much as hear the story.
thank you Audible and everyone involved in putting this together so people like me, with dyslexia, can enjoy
