About the Author
Alex Callister is the pseudonym of an industry expert on media, telecoms and internet stocks. Alex has spent her career visiting high security web hosting sites and speculating on what might go wrong. Winter Dark is her debut novel and the first in the Winter series.

Unconventional protagonist
I enjoyed the female lead in this novel who was learning and growing as a person as the story progressed, who accepted her criticism and was able to see it. I was torn sometimes on how I felt about her as situations arose...whether I hated her or loved her but there was never any apathy. There were parts of the story that felt a bit unrealistic like a Fast & Furious movie where some of the action scenes make you feel like wth just happened or that deja vu of something from Face Off...but on the whole the story was gripping and kept the imagination running and made me interested in what the next book would have in store. An overall good listen and narration.

Ell Potter is amazing!!! What a book. I'm already looking forward to the next four lessons. I love the character Winter.

Great Story!
The lead character is unexpected and unique, as are the plot scenarios. The violence and sex are graphic and visceral, which makes reading it fascinating and uncomfortable. I look forward to the 2nd in this new series.

Keeps you interested
I love Eli Potter’s narration. I feel this is what kept me connected to this novel. Winter is an interesting character as well I really liked some of the sub characters and how they are worked into the storyline. Bottom line I will listen to the next Winter novel.

Seems like such a great story.
This seems like such an amazing story; too bad about the choppy narration. Not sure if the story is written the way it's read, or the narrator decided to put her own spin on it, but it is so hard to follow. I don't even think I made it half way through the novel.

Not sure
There were times when the story was action packed and riveting but there was so much sexual wording it drew away from the main story and made it read more like a romance novel.
