story was good but the sexy scenes were a bit weird. if you don't like that sort of thing you can always skip them it's still a good listen.

Solid finish to the series...
you know this is considered a dark fantasy with smut mixed in, I enjoyed it purely for the storytelling and the performance ( I skipped over most of the smut in this book). I believe the author and/or editor could easily turn this series into an R-rated or NC-17 type of story and turn it into a multi-episodic series far beyond just this trilogy. With a little bit more tweaking of the story and some added characters here and there, I could honestly see this being turned into something like Game of Thrones on HBO, obviously with a little less smut or at least equal to Game of Thrones. Honestly, the worst part about this entire series was the cover art on all three books of this trilogy and the awkwardness or clumsiness of the "over-the-top at times" smut, it wasn't necessary. Overall, recommend this book as well as the rest of this series.
