About this listen
AMAZON BESTSELLER
Don't work longer. Work stronger.
As author Pete Leibman demonstrates in this eye-opening book, stronger hours (not longer hours) are the key to achieving and sustaining higher performance.
Work Stronger provides a step-by-step, science-based approach for increasing your energy, decreasing your stress, and taking your performance to a higher level.
You'll learn how to form stronger habits in four key areas that impact how you feel and perform each day: mental focus and time management, sleep and mindfulness, exercise, and nutrition.
This book also features practical tips and powerful insights from private interviews that Leibman conducted with more than twenty-five prominent leaders. The group includes Chip Bergh, the president and CEO of Levi Strauss & Co., Dick Costolo, the former CEO of Twitter, and Janine Allis, an investor on Shark Tank.
You can also visit WorkStronger's website for three free bonuses that are included with the book (a free habits assessment, a free Work Stronger Workbook, and a free training series on how to get even better results).

How much do you already know
the book covers a lot of the basics in self improvement. if you have much background there isn't very much of anything new or original

Only ok. Picked up a few new ideas
it wasn't the greatest book. It wasn't bad a few chapters need to be skipped through because he is either rambling through daily eating examples or daily fitness examples. Overall the fitness component was more than I expected when picking up this audiobook. I almost couldn't make it the whole way through. thankfully its short.

Clumsy Metaphors and Celebrity Worship
The author falls into traps of survivorship and confirmation bias, and leans heavily on celebrities or CEOs. It would be beneficial to spend more time giving general strategies, rather than telling us that Tony Robbins likes ice baths in the morning.
Providing tools and ideas is great, but the ones here are lacking; the "headlights method" is needlessly contrived, for instance. Just say "set manageable goals", or "start small" (assuming I understood it correctly). The author seems to prioritize self-promotion over raw usefulness.
There's some good advice here, buried under distracting flaws.

Name dropping never ends
I couldn't get past his tendencies to name drop every 30 seconds. only got one quarter through this and I want my time back.
