About this listen
From USA Today best-selling author, Willow Winters, comes a tempting tale of fated love, lust-filled secrets, and the beginnings of an epic war.
His chiseled jaw and silver gaze haunts both my nightmares and my dreams, though I’ve only ever gotten a glimpse of either.
There’s a treaty between us and them; mere mortals and the ones who terrify but keep us safe. The contract demands that every year there’s an offering, and this year I’ll walk across that stage presenting myself.
We have no idea what to expect if they choose someone, since they haven’t done so in generations.
The only thing we know is that the ones they take belong to them forevermore. If chosen, you don’t come back, or so the story of the treaty goes.
Gather and present yourself.
This is the offering...and I...belong to him.

Extremely intriguing and hot AF 🔥 but feels like an introduction, not a whole book
The hot factor is off the charts!!! 🔥 This story feels like a perfect beginning to an intriguing, sexy and fun shifter series. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feel like a whole book, it feels like an introduction to a book. Like this book was actually the first few chapters of a book and as the reader, I’m now waiting for the real intrigue to begin and to be immersed in a world filled with shifters, vampires, witches and magic but it never really comes. I feel a bit robbed that I spent a whole credit on an introduction to a story. I’m hoping the second book will be more satisfying because I’m very intrigued and sitting on the edge of my seat to find out all the secrets of this shifter world and what will happen to all the great characters that were introduced in this first book.
I can’t say this book is worth a credit, I would be more satisfied if I had read the ebook instead. It’s much cheaper and the narrators’ performances weren’t good enough to justify the need to read it in an audio version.
