Publisher's Summary

When dungeon delvers and dinosaurs clash, who can survive?

Newborn Dungeon Cores must choose what entity they help contain, and that choice determines what monsters they are able to summon. After being executed for crimes forgotten in death, Tira is given the chance to make that choice. Tira chose Acekorah, the Primeval Terror, a being so dangerous few cores will risk trying to contain it.

The danger wasn’t important. Tira remembers dying. If containing Acekorah means Tira will face greater danger, that’s a risk worth taking, because the Primeval Terror walked the world long before the races of Man roamed the earth, and Cores bound to him are able to summon beings from beyond the veil of time.

Now, forged in the fires of Tira's wrath, the dinosaurs will walk the world anew.

Magic sure is a … spectrum…

Was good! Took me a while to actually care about any of the characters, but it’s kind of in the nature of the book. I did find myself rooting for a side or two near the end. Dinos were ok. I feel like adults that still find dinosaurs epic would really like this. Felt like a smash between dungeon core books, an Ark server and a third grader’s bedroom wall decor. I’ll most likely check out number two.

What more can you ask for?

Dinosaurs and dungeons. Sounds like a perfect match especially for the LITRPG genre. Excellent narration by soundbooth as usual.

The Jurassic park that is. Annie once again shows her amazing level of talent. Can’t wait for book 2

Dinosaurs? SOLD!

Loved the book, but then you can add dinosaurs to literally anything and make it better. Now that doesn't mean they can make anything good. Just better. That's where the world building and the narration comes in to take something that I would have genuinely enjoyed, and amplified it to a real treat.

AWESOME!!!

Frankly, I was hesitant with this one. It sounded kind of cool but...

And then I loved it.
