About this listen

They began to arrive at the cove, at the center of which sat a 3000-year-old Baobab surrounded by hundreds of plants and animals from across the planet. At the edge of the cove lay ocean in a bay filled with marine representatives from every ocean and sea on Earth. They had all come to tell the human the story of the most ancient discipline known to humankind, Yoga. It was a story of love between the human and the universe. One in which humans involuted into the self to understand not only themselves, but also their connection to every living being.

As Eagle landed on Baobab, she turned to the human, who looked up at her and said, “Eagle, nearly all of nature is here, I....”

He stuttered, mesmerized by what lay in front of him.

“Weeeeell, here’s the thing. Once the vibration of my thoughts carried the message that we would be explaining the human to an actual human, all the manifestations of nature began to arrive. Our survival as well as yours lies in your species.”

Baobab leaned toward the human who stood rooted in front of her. “Corey, this journey we are about to take you on is a true story, and will explain the human body, mind, energy systems, emotions, and all the other layers humans have attached yourselves to in the false belief that these are you. False, because if you can observe them, then they cannot be you.”

“So where am I then?” asked Corey, still in shock that he was being given knowledge by a tree.

Ocean, whose gentle waves lapped at the feet of Earth, answered, “Your true self, your individual consciousness, is in every cell of your body, and in you, humans may be seen in the reflection of a pure and clean mind. But do look so overwhelmed. In the moons to come, we will give you all the knowledge and the tools to purify your mind, unattach from your natural form, and reconnect with your true-self, and then to the universe.”

Just then, Orangutan dropped her head in front of Corey, swinging back and forth. “And while we explain you to you, we will also tell you our stories, so you may see the soul in us as well.”

Before Corey could respond, all of nature, in a cacophony of forward folds, back bends, and inversions, arrived into a meditative position with their heads bowed. Then, out of nowhere, but from everywhere, the human felt his entire energetic being vibrate as they began to AUM.
