Book ain’t perfect

This is a good zombie series, but it’s not for everyone. The rest of the books kind of just go from one plot line to the next and it doesn’t always flow nicely. Like you’ll think that a character is being setup for a specific role and then nothing happens and they all die for no reason other then for shock value.

good survival story.

A nice little zombie survival book.
5 stars right out of the gate because it's free and because it was enjoyable.
interesting take on the zombie apocalypse where zombies aren't any real threat but rather other people right from the start.
MC is a know it all which is kind of out of no where. It would have been nice if they gave a reason for this.
As it reads it's like he pauses the world, Google's the topic he is involved with, then reads it off.
There is so little pre apocalypse story that it seems like he is just a normal guy, but also he knows the answer to everything.
performance is excellent

Predictable, worth the listen

I found this series scrolling thru the included (free books). It's not very well written with a predictable plot. The apocalypse happens, boy gets guns, has hot girlfriend, and is attempting to re populate the earth. And is the hero. I did finish the first book and started the second. Good book, just turn off your brain and listen don't read too much into it.

Painfully Bad

This sounds like it could have been written by a C level high school student. Maybe that’s the target audience? The language is painfully simple, the dialogue is stiff and stilted, and the characters are no better. The only character of any interest is the protagonist, and I was really hoping he would die. I listened to the very end because I’m a completist and I wanted to give a fair review. This is a book in dire need of an editor. Narrator does a reasonable job given the material.

Great listen

I’ve been searching for a new series to get into and I’m glad I stumbled on this. So far so good, excited to get into book 2.
