  • After a a nice little run to start the month of January off and essentially turn around the season, the Rangers face just their second regulation loss of the new year against the freshly reeling Colorado Avalanche. The game proved as a nice check-in against a contending team, even if it's without cup winner Mikko Rantanen. Though the team faired well against the fellow wildcard foes, it will be interesting to see how the new-look Rangers can navigate the upcoming schedule, with games against mostly struggling teams in contention.
