This week we are exploring Chinese New Year!
- "Nian" is a retelling of a Chinese fable about how the people of the land outwit the monster, Nian, and get him to leave their land. Some say it is the origin story for the Chinese New Year dragon festival.
- "Xiang's Luck" explores some New Year traditions and a little boy's love of bubble blowing.
- "The King's Goose" retells another fable exploring the origins of the lantern festival and the king's anger over a stolen goose.
Stories by Gingie is a podcast by Ginger Casebeer consisting of three stories each week aiming to discover, adventure, and explore a topic. Sometimes based on a holiday or event during the week, these stories are aimed to entertain and sometimes educate children 3- to 8-years old.
