  • Welcome to the Crowned with Confidence Podcast! Hello Queen, Hola Reina! Are you a stay-at-home mom seeking to feel confident in yourself and in your motherhood? Maybe you run a business from home or homeschool your kids and find yourself overwhelmed all the time. Do you struggle to find time for yourself and feel like God is just wanting you to slow down a little bit or make some changes in your life? Have you found yourself so stressed out and know you need to prioritize your fitness, mental & spiritual health? Do you want to enjoy your precious time with your children at home and still make time to pour into your own cup? Do you want to be able to make time for your fitness but not let it take up so much time from your family and life? If any one of these sounds like what you may be struggling with then you have come across the perfect podcast! Hello queen, my name is Monica Rojas, and I am a Jesus lover, wife, stay-at-home mom who homeschools our 2 precious children, and the Founder of Boxfit Queens. Back in 2020, before the pandemic, I made the decision to leave my career to stay home after giving birth to our daughter. What was supposed to be the most beautiful time in my life turned out to be the most difficult one. I struggled so much to find peace and joy with my new role as a stay-at-home mom for a few reasons. One being postpartum depression, two I was trying to find my purpose in being home because I had the mindset that if I wasn’t working, I was not contributing, and lastly, I was too busy comparing myself to other moms and their lives. All this equaled to feeling the opposite of confident. Fast forward to almost 4 years as a stay-at-home mom, I can say that I wish I had the knowledge I have today to tell myself that God has a beautiful plan and purpose for both you and me as mothers and that purpose is not based on the money we bring in but in the heart work that we do to love and serve our families. The work you do as a mom in your home is so important and should not be minimized, however, I do understand that when we do not feel good about ourselves, we cannot see the beauty in the things in front of us at times. My mission as a Boxing fitness trainer specifically for moms is to create a routine and workout for you to do to pour into your own cup and take care of yourself first. So many times we get so busy doing everything for everyone else that we forget we need to build a strong foundation for our motherhood by partnering with God and taking care of our bodies as well as renewing the way we think. This podcast is dedicated to partnering faith, boxing fitness and personal development to help you become the best version of yourself while you do the important work God has called you to do. So many times we are caught up in how society tells us we should look and in turn we start engaging in unhealthy patterns like these I mention in this episode.

    Every one of these patterns that I mention I have personally struggled with myself so do not feel discouraged if you find that you struggle with one or all. I provide Bible scriptures with each behavior to help you get back in alignment with Gods truth over you.
