The Detroit Red Wings were outscored 9-2 this weekend, in two gut punch losses to the Lightning and Stars. Defensive lapses and lazy backchecking created too much easy offense for both opponents. In the offensive zone, the power play began to come back down to Earth, as they scored just one goal on the man advantage this weekend. At 5v5, sure they outshot their opponent, but most of those shots came from the perimeter as it was all the Red Wings could do to just rim it around the boards. #LGRW
