  • #1 - What happened to our food?
    May 20 2023

In this episode, Dr. Burford-Mason discusses how the industrialization of food led to the creation of ultra-processed foods, so bad for our health, and what you can do to avoid them.

Ultra-processed foods are designed to be hyper-palatable, making them irresistible to eat. As a result, they are a major contributor to the obesity epidemic and other chronic diseases.

Dr. Burford-Mason suggests reading food labels carefully and avoiding foods with ingredient lists that contain more than 5 items.

This podcast is a must-listen for anyone who wants to understand how food affects health in the 21st century.

Great basics

Great basics for people who want to be a little healthier. Makes me wonder what people who are already sick can do to be better faster.
