In Eastern California, there is a place called Death Valley. It is the hottest, driest, and the lowest in the world. National Park and a land of extremes. It has steady drought and extreme summer heat, yet there the towering peaks are frosted with winter snow and rare rainstorms bring vast fields of wildflowers.
Today's thought comes from Psalms 23:4 which says, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
