Ty spent 10 years in a really fascinating situation where he was both at the bottom of a power ladder in one organization and at the top of a power ladder in another. Both at the same time.

So that gave him a fascinating insight into leadership, what works, what doesn't, what's really effective, what drives a company on.

And as a result of that, and his PhD research, he started looking into purpose and how that is really a driving force in creative, effective companies. It doesn’t matter if your company is big or small, this is a message for all of us.
