In today's episode, titled "Engaging Stakeholders: The Role of Investors, NGOs, and Governments in the Social Impact Aspect of ESG," we'll be shedding light on the crucial role these key stakeholders play in driving positive change .
We examine the role of investors in driving social impact  highlighting two such investor companies. We then turn our attention to NGOs, or non-governmental organizations. These organizations have a long history of advocating for social and environmental causes, six different NGOs are mentioned.  NGOs often serve as intermediaries between businesses, governments, and communities .
Finally, governments are highlighted as they can play a critical role in promoting social sustainability by creating policies and regulations that require companies to operate in a socially responsible manner . Three such governments are examined.
As a former UN ambassador, as well as a former Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, coupled with her experience as a seasoned academic on sustainability and its inherent digital transformation needs, she helps her clients create a message out of what seemed like a mess.
