In this podcast, we discuss notable drug advancements and concepts of novel agents, the need for metabolism clinics for the interaction of various medical specialties, and bariatric/metabolic surgery in managing individuals with chronic metabolic conditions.

    The consensus to shift to a new, more accurate, and appropriate name is underpinned by the advances in understanding the multisystem and multifactorial pathophysiology of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
