they need to move on from SNL all these years later
The two have good chemistry, however they need to let go of the past. Unless you're a rabid SNL fan (which is probably limited to former cast members) the episodes get a little old -- especially in a time when they all go onto each other's podcasts and talk SNL. Yes, it launched many of their careers but, in some cases, it's 30 years later and they're STILL talking about it. Outside of that, as the guys fully admit -- even joking about it -- they interrupt way too much and make stories about them. That's one of the big gripes about Kelly Clarkson's talk show: she asks a question and rather than listening to the answer, she's formulating something to interject and make it about her. That's insecurity and not allowing your guest to be the star of the interview. Otherwise, they're funny when they talk between the two of them at the beginning and end.

Loved it, until Chevy Chase
I have listened to every episode of the podcast, until today. It was so amazing to listen to David and Dana recently speak to Lorne and Paul McCartney - but when I opened my Spotify app today to see Chevy Chase being featured I was very disappointed. I tried to listen to it and made it about 20 minutes in before I had to turn it off.
I don't believe in cancelling people (and don't think cancel culture is even a thing), however I believe that there are celebrities that should not be given platforms to speak. The way that Chevy speaks about women is so hurtful, not to mention the fact that he was rude, brought up Phil Hartman's death in poor taste and interrupted the interview even more than Dana (which is shocking).
David and Dana- please consider who you are giving a platform to. Chevy was an important part of SNL and comedy history, but this interview was not needed. Or at the very least, some of his remarks should have been edited out. I'm not sure if he was chosen as a guest for shock value, but he came across as a gross, sad old man with no filter and it just was not funny.
