In this episode, we focus on the escalation of gender-based violence (GBV) during times of crisis, including natural disasters, armed conflicts, and public health emergencies. Our guest discusses how these situations exacerbate vulnerabilities and disproportionately impact women, children, and marginalized groups. We explore the main forms of GBV that often emerge or intensify during challenging times and the crucial need to shift the narrative around GBV from being viewed as an inevitable consequence of crises to recognizing it as a preventable and addressable issue.
