  • One opinion I often hear is that MLB teams need more young Black people in their front office. That is true, but the path to getting into a position as an MLB Front Office Executive is tricky. Those future GMs may have grind at levels they didn't even know existed.

    Brandon Rembert is one of those future GMs currently out on the grind. Brandon is a development scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates. At 25, he has taken control of his career and is working to put himself off the road and in an MLB Front office someday.

    On this episode of the Black Baseball Mixtape Podcast, I (Cheats) chop it up with Brandon and discuss his path to the Pirates organization, his love for the game, and his playing career.
