• Navigating Change, Big Transitions & Your Vision for 2025
    Jan 31 2025

Welcome to the first episode of How Did You Do It? in 2025! This year has already brought a whirlwind of change, and from conversations I've had, so many of us are sitting in transition, grappling with loss, uncertainty, and fear of the unknown.

In this episode, I explore how to navigate your hardest moments with compassion. We talk about slowing down your "Merry-Go-Round", staying connected to your heart despite challenges, and finding the type of support you need.

I also dive into vision boarding—not as a wish list, but as a way to cultivate the feelings and experiences that we want to embody this year.

If you're feeling lost, overwhelmed, or in need of grounding, this one's for you. And if you need someone to talk to, I've included support numbers in the description—you are not alone.

  • The Broke Generation - Behind The Curtain with Emma Edwards
    Jun 19 2024

On this episode, I sit down with Emma Edwards - author of Good With Money and certified Financial Behaviour Specialist®. In this episode we delve deep into Emma’s process of writing ‘Good With Money’, we talk about what it’s like living your life online and being part of the ‘content creation’ world, and lastly I ask all the burning financial questions on all your minds. Do we give up the morning late’s for some extra cash in the bank? What’s the go with superannuation? How much control do I actually have over my wealth??

Whilst this episode is for anyone, I specifically want to talk to all my lady listeners for a hot minute. I suggest getting a notepad and writing down some reflective questions here.

How are my spending habits and beliefs contributing to the unrealistic standard of beauty that women feel they need to uphold?

What are my beliefs around clothing, makeup, and my appearance? If looking at my bank balance, what is the split between savings/socialising and how much money I’m spending chasing a feeling that is sold to us?

How much do I know about superannuation as a female?

Let’s continue to talk, to educate, to inspire one another.

  • How I Embraced Both Western Medicine and Spiritual Practices to Heal From Chronic Pain - with Aron Mazur
    May 7 2024

Today we’re joined by Aron Mazur, also known as The Hip Lawyer on social media.

In 2017, Aron faced a heartbreaking tragedy when he lost his then 25 year old sister tragically.

This profound loss has not only shaped his personal beliefs and values, but also ignited a passion for addressing grief and promoting conversations about loss. Channelling his grief into helping others, Aron has since co-founded two charities, Anika Legal and The Five Percent Foundation.

His journey took another turn with a debilitating hip condition in 2022, leading to two surgeries and significant disability, and sidelining him from work for 13 months due to chronic pain.

This experience challenged Aron to reflect on his approach to health and wellness. Embracing a combination of western medicine and spiritual practices, Aron has found ways to heal both physically and emotionally, overcoming physical limitations that once seemed insurmountable. He is a testament to overcoming physical and emotional pain and a beacon of hope for those in their darkest hours.

Today, we delve into bits of Aron’s story of re-identifying himself when handling chronic pain, the emotional and physical side of healing, finding belonging, and handling the loss of his sibling.

As always, I can't wait to hear your feedback.
