In this episode, I invite you to slow down and connect with natural cycles of winter season. The episode goes then to explain how trauma affected our brain size and our nervous system. As childhood trauma survivors, we need to understand the difference between sympathetic and parasympathetic systems of our brains, so we can begin noticing where we usually habitually live. I also explain how chronic high alert mode can deteriorate our health and lead to chronic health conditions. Understanding our nervous system and finding ways to calm it, will help us to feel better and thrive as moms. But most of all, it will help us to cultivate some self-love and self-compassion that we so much deserve in motherhood phase of our lives.
I would love to hear from you!
