Exercise is meant to be challenging enough for us to be able to grow and change, it should not be over-challenging to a point where simple tasks become difficult.
I didn’t realize this until putting on socks and shoes was strenuous for me. Since then, I learned how to challenge my body just enough so that it can grow without being beaten up. I ran a half marathon at one of the toughest times in my life, so I signed up again to do it right.
Today, I’ll explain the 3 lessons I learned so far in training for this marathon.
