• W is for Wolf
    Jan 28 2025

Another week, another set of Dustin Wolf wins. We're checking in after a pretty solid week from the good guys in red following wins against Buffalo and Minnesota. The goaltending debate is settled! However, we do have some gripes with the demotion of Rory Kerins as well we're breaking down/making fun of the meltdown up in the Edmonton over Connor McWhiner's suspension.

  • AWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
    Jan 13 2025

Led by Dustin Wolf, the Flames dropped the Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings this week with 3-2 and 2-1 victories respectively. It seems the Flames aren't going anywhere in the race for the wild card spot and hey, with how well this Wolf kid is rolling...the boys might actually have a shot at it.

On the show today, we're once again singing the praises of the Wolfman. Also, Jonathan Huberdeau has been absolutely on fire and Matt Coronato continues to impress. Additionally, we delve into the recent rumblings around a Rasmus Andersson contract extension and why the Flames should be looking to trade him rather than committing long term (even though we love the guy).

A busy week and tough road trip ahead! Go Flames Go

  • To tank or not to tank?
    Jan 6 2025

Hey, folks. The Flames are pulling their classic up and down act and find themselves right smack dab in a fight for mid. Today we’re looking at peak pain scenarios and why they need to ride Dustin Wolf if they want to make a serious playoff push. As well we’re pondering about the commitment the long term vision and why an unexpected result this year should not deter Craig Conroy from his over arching plan to be competitive in three to five years.

  • Huby’s uncontrollable Christmas
    Dec 23 2024

The Flames struggled in OT this week, dropping extra time decisions to Boston and Ottawa but the managed to send us home with an early Christmas W.

Today we’re chatting Jonathan Huberdeau’s hot streak (and why, despite his nice stretch we still don’t want to see him in OT), the kids leading the way of late, the return of Elias Lindholm, and trying to settle the Vladar vs Wolf conversation.

  • Looks like TANK is BACK on the menu
    Dec 9 2024

The Flames scoring woes and struggles on the road continued as they find themselves in a nasty skid that included losses to Dallas and St. Louis this week. Are we back in tank mode? It seems to shift every week!

Today we're breaking down the past week of games, looking at how the Flames should be getting more young players into the lineup, whether or not they should consider trading Rasmus Andersson, and of course a review of welcoming the Gaudreau family back to the C of Red.
