Houston rolled in to Salt Lake City for a game against the Utah Jazz and encountered a youthful Jazz roster that played an excellent game. Jazz youth was on full display as Lauri Markkanen was the only veteran player to see court time in the game for the Jazz. Keyonte George scored 30 points, hauled down 8 rebounds and dished out six assists in the Utah Jazz win.

Norman Powell scored 41 points in an overtime win over the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. James Harden added 32 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the Clippers. Utah Jazz received a career night from Rookie Kyle Filipowski. The rookie fouled out in overtime after playing 37 minutes but in his time on the court, Kyle recorded 20 points on 8-12 shooting (3-6 on 3s) and hauled in 10 rebounds. A fantastic double-double night for the rookie forward from Duke.

Tables were turned 180 degrees from where things stood just 48 hours earlier in LA. In that game, Luka's first, the Lakers dismantled the Jazz from the opening tip. This game was the opposite. Jazz came out with some energy and force and dominated. Lauri Markkanen scored 32 points and Walker Kessler added 6 blocked shots and 16 points on 8-8 shooting from the field. Utah Jazz totaled 30 assists in the game against only 12 turnovers.
