Join me as I broadcast today’s Thanksgiving show live from our church Thanksgiving dinner held in Washington DC! Numerous friends of mine came in and told me something they were thankful for. They include… 1. My buddy Andre, who rides his bike 45 minutes one way to come to church each week. 2. Peter and Toby Christensen, president and matron of the Washington DC Temple, where they oversee the efforts of 1300 volunteers. 3. Eight young full-time missionaries who spent 60 hours a week helping other people find joy. 4. Am Anita, from Sierre Leone, who regularly provides food for our church members, and can balance a watermelon on her head while dancing! 5. Eric, who as the result of a tire explosion on a commercial airliner near where he was working, lost one arm and both legs and yet still says people should be “thankful for life.” 6. And our great producer, Don, who joined us right at the end, and shared some of his Thanksgiving thoughts as well! 7. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
