As part of our 2025 initiative we wanted to spotlight more of the wonderful creators in the world of comics who we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in our time! Tonight we have Kill Stan creator Deece Casillas of Inferno Comics! We first met Deece at last years Comic Arts San Antonio (C.A.S.A.) show! Later we ran into him again at one of the Wonderland of the Americas shows. His book has a unique concept which grabbed our attention! The primary character wishes to end his life and he chooses to do so through vigilantism! Talk about going out with a bang! Deece has created a successful Kickstarter campaign for his book and we want to talk to him about the path that led him here! Join us for this sure to be bang-up conversation! And if YOU ever wanted to create your own comic book here’s your chance to ask someone about their process!

The Netflix smash hit SQUID GAME returns for their much anticipated second season! Last season introduced us to Seong Gi-Hun played by Lee Jung-jae. While we didn’t cover season 1 it wasn’t for lack of trying and we will do our best to recap before we get into season 2. Originating in South Korea and with a primarily South Korean cast Squid is this generations answer to the Hunger Games and The Running Man! A ton of fun to watch with a cast of characters you both love and hate! This is the water cooler show people are talking about and we can’t wait to talk about it with you!

It’s our final show of 2024 and with 2025 just around the corner we wanted to look back and talk with you about the things that made us pop in 2024! Now we know we’re late, but we had so much come out around the timeframe it’s taken us this long to get ourselves back on the Witches Road! And what a road it was! Filled with revelations - new characters and even Death herself! We know the ep is late and WE are starting late, like the good ol’ days! It’s been a 3 week hiatus but we’re back and ready to talk the final arc of Oswald Cobb in season 1 of the HBO Max powerhouse - The Penguin! Now if you’d have told us a year ago that we’d be hype for a damn Penguin series we’d have called you liars. But the power of really strong writing prevails! Coupled with masterful performances from Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, and Deirdre O’ Connell - The Penguin has seemingly struck a universal chord with audiences. Not just comic book and superhero fans either but just fans of good programming. If you loved The Sopranos you’re going to love The Penguin. Spoilers are incoming and we’re glad to be back!

Burgess Meredith, Danny DeVito, and now Colin Farrell. Each of these men has been The Penguin from Batmans' rogues' gallery but though he hasn’t donned the top hat and monocle - Farrell may be delivering the definitive portrayal of the character. First seen in Matt Reeves 2022 The Batman - Farrell was easily the standout as Penguin. Now we head back to the Iceberg Lounge with Oz in Max’s newest series - The Penguin. Now unless you’ve been locked up in Arkham then you know that THIS is THE show fans are talking about. Farrell’s portrayal of the low-ranking Penguin in the Falcons family and of course the incredible Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone is something special to watch. We’re only halfway through the season but we were ready to discuss it thus far! Dust of those umbrella guns for this one!
