Monday Mile with Aimee Fuller

Auteur(s): Monday Mile - By Aimee Fuller
  • Résumé

  • Former Team GB double winter Olympian, and no broadcaster and author Aimee Fuller is on a mission to find the secrets for Monday motivation from some of the most successful sports men and women of our time and other well-known celebrities which will drop every week. Aimee will be probing for answers from the full spectrum of routines; the early birds who have finely tuned Monday mornings, to the late risers who struggle to get up before 11am. How do elite athletes find the motivation to kick start their week come rain or shine? How do celebrities deliver no matter what the time of day? What knowledge can they pass on?’ Each episode will drop on a Monday morning and plays out in real time. Aimee will meet each of her guests for a walk and a chat and over the course of the mile she will find out how they cope on a Monday morning - their idiosyncrasies, breakfast routines, alarm noises - and how, when they need to, find the motivation to kick-on through the week. Dropping every Monday as a bitesize 23-35 minute piece of content and weekly dose of motivation - right when you need it - sharing some of Britain's greatest athletes’ secrets on self-motivation, candid thoughts on what they struggle with and a sideways look at some of their more unusual morning habits.

  • S14 Ep8: NATALIE CASSIDY ON CELEBRATING EASTENDERS AND LEARNING FROM THE ‘POWERFUL, MATRIARCHAL WOMEN’ ON SET
    Feb 23 2025

For the last episode in this series of the @Monday_mile_series we’ve got an all-round triple threat, actor podcaster and presenter…@natcass
Known best for her time as Sonia Fowler on @bbceastenders, she’s been gracing our TV screens for over three decades.
In this episode I chat to Natalie about her time on Eastenders, how privileged she feels to have grown up and learnt from so many powerful women on set and how it feels like home to her now, like it’s a part of her.
We also chat about her cameo in the recent season of @boarderstv as an eccentric maths teacher, and her new show coming out on @channel4, ‘What’s The Big Deal?’
Although she loves acting, Natalie shares her love for being able to be herself through her presenting and podcasting. She loves chatting to people and uses as her podcast ‘Life with Nat’ as a way of connecting with people, just like this one…
This one is a good one… Don’t miss it!

  • S14 Ep7: OLIVER PROUDLOCK AND ELLIOT AWIN ON THEIR INSPIRING WORK WITH THE BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION
    Feb 17 2025
This week we’re focusing on the heart, I’m joined by two men, with two very different stories. @proudlock and @elliotawin ❤️

Known best for his time on Made in Chelsea, @proudlock is an entrepreneur, brand owner and fashion designer. @elliotawin is known best for his epic solo mission rowing around the Atlantic, he’s a former rugby player and a man defying all odds whilst living with a heart arrhythmia.

Oliver and Elliot have decided to run the London Marathon together this year, both for @the_bhf. Oliver, who has lost a lot of important male figures in his life to heart conditions, including his dad, is running again, 10 years after his last marathon, in memory of those he has lost. Elliot, who has been living with a heart arrhythmia is running to raise funds and raise awareness that those living with heart conditions can continue to live their life to the fullest.
