In this episode, we discuss the newest entry to the Godzilla franchise, Godzilla Minus One. Spoilers ahead! This film can be best described as a modern retelling of the original film from 1954. Set days after WWII, this film tackles post-war struggles, survivor's guilt, and the controversy of the Kamakazi pilot all with Godzilla in the middle of it. Compared to other recent entries in the franchise, such as the Reiwa era Shin Godzilla and the American Monsterverse, this movie is truly Godzilla as he is meant to be.
