    Nov 4 2024

Hailing from Saint Paul, MN, Husker Du was formed in 1979 by guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist Greg Norton, and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart. Before calling it a day in 1988, the band released six studio full-length albums, two live albums, two EPs, 10 singles, and two live albums (one released after the band broke up). More importantly, the band was hugely influential, helping to pave the way for the alternative rock boom in the 1990s.
