  • Sixers blow 26-point 3rd quarter lead in gut punch of a loss to Celtics | PHLY Sixers Postgame
    Feb 3 2025

The Philadelphia 76ers led by as many as 26 points with 2:56 to play in the 3rd quarter, but the Boston Celtics were able to turn things around with their defense and three-point shooting to eventually take the lead and secure the 118-110 road win. Stunning the Sixers and their home crowd. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 34, adding six assists but was unable to get things going in the 4th, scoring just two points because of how the Celtics defended him and forced the ball out of his hands. Boston shot 50 percent from the field and made 21 threes from long distance en route to their 35th win of the season. The Sixers' record drops to 19-29.

The PHLY Sixers crew breaks down Philadelphia's second consecutive heartbreaking loss at home.
