  • Summary

  • Welcome to our Podcast! We are 3 great friends who raised our families in the LEO lifestyle for over 20 years. Without realizing it, we ended up creating our own support system because the struggles of police families haven’t changed. We hope to bring those challenges to light by allowing our confidential guests to share what didn’t exist for us, a safe space to feel supported instead of alone. Our guests will openly share their journeys without identifying themselves, their first responder or agency. Our goal is to share lessons learned and provide helpful tools to keep first responder families in the front seat. Send us a confidential email to ridealongchronicles@gmail.com

  • SPOTLIGHT MONDAY: Valuing Your Employees
    Jan 27 2025
On today's Spotlight Monday, we wanted to shine the light on how organizational leaders can retain good employees by making them feel valued. We had an opportunity to delve deep into this topic with our guest Jason, of Episode 64. Jason, a law enforcement agency leader himself, shared what he observed and learned about appreciating employees throughout his 25+ years of service. Between his own personal experiences being supervised, to those who mentored him, and to the good leaders who influenced him and the choices he made as a leader, Jason shared a few examples of what he learned from those who demonstrated great leadership moments. For more information and resources, visit us at ridealongchronicles.com and be sure to catch us on the next ride!

  • The Other F Word
    Jan 15 2025
Welcome 2025! This is the third year of our podcast, and we are excited to review where we’ve been and where we're going. Over the past three years we've met amazing people and have learned so many interesting things that not only challenged us but have also enlightened us. Reflecting on past interviews we talked about feelings that were brought up after our interviews with our guests and about challenges experienced. Recognizing we were more transactional in our interview style we decided this year we would dig more into the feeling part. We have so much to learn and share with this new year so come ride along with us!
