Women are not allowed to be angry. We don't know how to be angry. Yet, our society has created enraged women.
I discuss RAGE with the author of Rage Becomes Her, Soraya Chemaly. Soraya Chemaly is an award-winning writer and media critic whose writing appears regularly in national and international media including The Atlantic, The Nation, Verge, Quartz, TIME, Salon, The Guardian and The New Statesman. Her book was part of the beginning of my awakening to realize how much work there is still to be done for women to live in a world where we feel safe.
- Why is anger allowed for boys but not girls?
- How can we teach girls to feel and use their anger?
- Where is this anger coming from?
- What to do with our anger?
