  • Summary

  • Southwestern Ontario boasts some of the most fertile farmland in the country: think apples, strawberries, and peaches. It’s also a place where the impact of the pandemic has been acutely felt and started important conversations about where our food comes from.

Southwest Ontario Gets a (Long Overdue) Chance to Shine

As a resident of southwestern Ontario, fellow farm stand aficionado and serious butter tart advocate, I loved everything about this episode. Meredith’s informal and friendly style of interviews and narration is engaging and very enjoyable. While the topic of knowing where your food comes from could be the subject of countless hours of discussion, Meredith introduces it just enough to whet your appetite to learn more. We truly do grow for the world here in southwestern Ontario and I would be thrilled to hear more in the audiobook and podcast space about this part of the Canada. Thanks Meredith for making me proud, yet again, to be born and raised in this region!
