  • Join us on a sun-soaked Friday afternoon as we journey to Terry Black's BBQ in Lockhart, the "Barbecue Capital of Texas." The 45-minute drive from New Braunfels was brimming with anticipation for their legendary brisket burnt ends.

    Upon arrival, we dodged the lunch rush and indulged in a feast of smoky, melt-in-your-mouth burnt ends, creamy corn, macaroni, a refreshing cola, and a specialty beer brewed just for Terry Black's.

    Our adventure didn't end there. We headed to the enchanting Luling Lavender Fields. Despite the fields not being in bloom, we delighted in picking up a CBD Black Cherry Sparkling Water and lovely smelling lavender deodorant.

    As we drove back to New Braunfels, our hearts were full from savoring Texas's finest BBQ, my favorite, and discovering lavender treasures.
