  • After last week's encounter with the mysterious "Margaret", we're once again analyzing a short piece of horror literature, one written by infamous recluse and literary genius Thomas Ligotti. Will we survive the attempt? Or will we be swallowed by a world of strange literature, never to return to mundane reality ever again? ...and if we were, would that really be so bad?

    Thanks as always to Arthel Hayes for providing the bookending quotes for this week's episode and for generally helping me keep somewhat sane as I forge ahead with this project. Both quotes derive from the story covered here today: "Vasterian" by Thomas Ligotti, Songs of a Dead Dreamer (1986).
