    He is a professor of the Practice of global mental health at the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. He has served as Director of the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse at the World Health Organization (WHO) for 20 years, authored 350+ academic papers, and received the prestigious Leon Eisenberg Award from Harvard Medical School.


    In the conversation, we talked about Professor Saxena’s life journey as a psychiatrist, his experience at WHO, mental health breakthroughs during catastrophes, political and industrial challenges in the Mental health field, and much more.
