  • Soul Brothers Speak Out: Supporting Men with Karen Warner
    Mar 4 2022

In today's episode I am joined by coach Karen Warner who is a coach working with men to give them space to talk about things they may not feel able to with others. Karen shares with us her own journey of domestic abuse and what led her to set up her coaching practice tailored to men. We also discuss concepts such as gaslighting, male suicide and why men might find it difficult to open up.

    About Karen:
Karen Warner is the founder of Achieving My Intentions Life Coaching. She is certified in NLP and Timeline and have many years experience in supporting people to achieve goals, step by step in their daily lives.

Karen would like to be a resource for the lovely community of men out there, who are looking to explore their lives, to see how they can achieve their goals and be empowered and successful in reaching them. She firmly believes that the hardest step in any journey is the first one but then you are on the path to living your best life!

She is a 53 year old mum and started eating healthily recently as the middle age spread had spread a bit too much!

  • A Soul Sister Speaks Out: Katie
    Feb 25 2022

In today's Soul Sisters episode I talk to Katie Roberts who highlights another form of domestic abuse that is talked about less often. Katie bravely shares her journey of abuse from a close friend, the impact it had on her life and what steps she took to ensure the abuse ended and that recovery took place. We deeply appreciate Katie sharing her story to help others.

    About Katie:
Katie Roberts is an Essex girl who’s been living and working in the North for 12 years. A former journalist, she’s found a new career in arts marketing and is now working at Your Trust in Rochdale. Her free time is dedicated to her cat, Trevor, going to gigs and festivals, eating vegan junk food, walking on the moors, following West Ham United and generally refusing to grow old gracefully.
