It’s past time for us as Christians to grow up.

o 1 Corinthians 13:11 (NKJV)

1. When Immature Christians hear God's chastisement of them, they immediately go to condemnation.

2. A lack of Spiritual Maturity – you turn inward to your problems, selfish, not a good witness, not looking to helping others, don’t/won’t serve.

3. Spiritual Maturity - is having a passion for all of God, Selfless, a good witness, looks to help others and serves.

4. They have a huge concern for those who are saved but stay in the baby Christian camp/nursery.

5. This may shock you, but you are not on planet earth just to be happy and blessed.

6. Spiritual Maturity Attributes:

a. Hard to offend.

b. Quick to forgive.

c. Self-control.

d. Prayers of “God I want Your will” – “God use me” – “God grow me.”

e. Disciplined speech.

f. They don’t live by their feelings.

g. Consistent.

h. Generous.

i. Humility.

7. We grow our whole life – Spiritual Maturity isn’t something you just arrive at one day.

8. We must learn to control our emotions, So our circumstances aren’t controlling and ruling us all the time.
