    It’s good to do for our family and friends, but not if doing so means wronging someone else’s family and friends.


    It’s good to work for the wellbeing of our neighbors and communities, our states and nations, but not if we forget that we are part of a larger global community.


    The earliest Christians believed that they were baptized into union with each other in Christ. The divisions of race and religion, class, social status, and gender identity were no more. (Galatians 3:28)


    If we aren’t standing on the side of truth and justice, righteousness and wellbeing, we are standing on the wrong side.
