This prompted speculation about whether or not James Gunn's DC Universe will combine the franchises he is creating with David Corenswet's Superman and Matt Reeves is building with Robert Pattinson's Batman. Plus, Sony's CEO Tony Vinciquerra made remarks about the studio's failing Spider-Man franchise which doesn't have a Spider-Man in it and, naturally, the Internet reacted.
