Hey, guys! Brittney here, and welcome to episode three! In this episode, I talk with Johnathan McCullough, a GRAMMY® nominated baritone, opera singer, and musical director. His production of David T. Littles' Soldier Songs with the Opera Philadelphia recently premiered. He also made his Canadian directing debut this season with the Atelier Lyrique of Opéra de Montréal in the program titled Emily, all centered around the works written by Emily Dickinson. It was co-created with conductor and pianist Christopher Allen. In our chat, we discuss his time as a Baritone opera singer, his work as a musical director, and his work with the National Children's Chorus. We also talk about where he thinks the future of opera will head and so much more.
