The third and final part of our long conversation about our favorite Post Apocalyptic and Apocalyptic fiction (part 1 begins in episode 2 and continues in episode 3). In this episode, we talk more about our favorite literature within the genre ("The Battle Circle" series, "I am Legend", "A Canticle for Liebowitz", "The Mist", "The Stand", "The Road", "Blood Meridian", "Battlefield Earth", "The Sword of Shannara" series, "The Dog Stars"). Additionally, we discuss the Music of Tangerine Dream ("Exit"), the song/video "You Got Lucky" from 1982, 1985's "Silent Running", & the Canadian band Godspeed You! Black Emperor (the song is "East Hastings" not "West Hastings" - Matt misquotes it many times!). In the Practices section, Joe leads us in a discussion of favorite exercies from "The 3A.M. Epiphany" by Brian Kiteley. We end the episode with a dramatization of J.N. Cameron's comedic horror story, "Funny People".

This is part 2 of a longer conversation about our favorite Post Apocalyptic and Apocalyptic fiction (part 1 of this conversation is in episode 2 of the podcast). In this episode, we talk about 3 episodes of the Twilight Zone ("Two", "A Time Enought to Last", "The Midnight Sun"), video games (The Fallout series, "The Last of Us" - recorded prior to the release of "The Last of Us Part 2" - which we both loved!), RPG's (Twilight 2000 & Aftermath!), literature ("By the Waters of Babylon", "The Day of the Triffids", "There Will Come Soft Rains", "The Tripods Trilogy", "The Horseclans series", & "Heiro's Journey"). After that, Joe leads us in a Practices section all about the importance of writing daily. We end the episode with a dramatization of J.N. Cameron's short story "The Testing of Affa-Eash".
