We discuss how journaling about the good, bad, and ugly can help identify the enemies in our lives – fear, pride, resentment, unforgiveness, and even depression – and how recognizing these "enemies" is the first step in overcoming them.

    After unpacking everything, the real challenge begins: choosing what to focus on. In Psalms 23:5, we’re presented with the imagery of a table set before us by God, with enemies surrounding it. The enemies will do everything they can to distract us from the blessings right in front of us. When we focus on the enemies, the blessings fade into the background. But when we choose to focus on the blessing, the enemies shrink, and the goodness in our lives becomes clearer.

    This episode is all about the process of choosing where to place our attention, how it influences our growth, and why it’s crucial for us to focus on the right things in order to unlock our best self.
