This should be taught in med school!
Shocking facts and sad stories of people that trusted the knowledge and humanity of their doctors. The proof that we don't need smart doctors but caring ones!
Ivan Beckley made me think about some of my decisions and the way I treat my patients.
Thank you Ivan!

the information was eye-opening!
A great listen! very informative and useful to think about. I struggled with all the sound effects, I found myself thinking about what made that noise and having to go back and listen to the words again.

kind of scary
It is scary that we think that the copious medical education for docs is lacking.
I'm more surprised that there isn't an uproar in the medical world about this.
The prescription for this... change

Black lives matter
Firstly I am not black, but I have worked in the health care sector for many years, and I have found that there is definitely racism, and classism within that sector. I believe that COVID19 has definitely illustrated that point further. I found enlightening on the discussion about spirography that the units themselves were manufactured with this racist feature built the reason being I completed these tests and was wondering why there was a I and II button, which I asked about repeatedly but was never informed. I found it interesting because I tried the test on both settings for myself and was shocked by the difference. I can only hope that the results were interpreted by the doctor's at that office correctly. I know occasionally these tests were repeated by another staff member.
