• Ep 019 - The Year Saying “Yes” to Everything Nearly Broke Me
    Nov 26 2024

In this episode, I’m sharing the raw, unfiltered truth about my experience with burnout as an online coach. Back in 2019, I said yes to everything -- every shift, every class, every client - even when it didn’t fit my schedule or align with my goals.

I was working 3:30am to 10pm, 5-6 days a week, living on caffeine and protein bars, convinced that hustling harder would grow my coaching business.

    Spoiler alert: it didn’t.

Instead, I spiralled. I forgot sessions, mixed up my diary, and felt like I was failing my clients. My energy tanked, my passion disappeared, and my relationships suffered—the only time I saw my girlfriend was when she came to pick me up from work.

If you’re an online fitness coach juggling endless hours, struggling to set boundaries, and constantly chasing the next ‘yes,’ this episode is for you. I’ll take you through how burnout impacted my business, my relationships, and my health - and why saying yes to everything won’t help you grow your coaching business sustainably.

Tune in to hear my story, learn from my mistakes, and start thinking differently about what it really takes to build a thriving business as an online coach.

  • Ep 015 - Here’s Why Nobody Cared What I Had to Say in 2017
    Nov 19 2024

In 2017, I thought the key to attracting clients was sounding as smart and technical as possible.

I filled my captions with jargon about time-under-tension squats and eccentric phases - and nobody cared.

My girlfriend, who was part of my target audience, gave me the brutally honest feedback I needed: "This isn’t speaking to anyone!" Once I swapped the complex words for language my audience actually used, everything changed.

In this episode, I’m sharing the cringe-worthy mistakes I made, what finally clicked, and the lesson every coach needs to hear: your audience doesn’t need a lecture - they need to feel understood.

Tune in for a lighthearted story with a serious takeaway!

  • Ep 013 - The Efficient Coach Process for Detaching Your Self Worth from Business Outcomes
    Nov 15 2024

This week, we’ve been diving deep into why your self-worth should never be tied to your business metrics. In today’s episode, I’ll walk you through the exact process we use inside The Efficient Coach to break this cycle for good.

    We’ll explore three powerful steps:

    1. Reframing Outcomes: Learn how to use the Thoughts Aren’t Facts (TAF) Framework to reframe any result - whether it’s a win, a loss, or somewhere in between - and see every outcome as valuable feedback.

    2. The Philosophy: 'You Are Not Your Business': Discover why standing out by staying true to your unique strengths - not following trends - is key to sustainable growth and emotional resilience.

    3. Gaining Perspective Through Conversation: See how mentoring helps take unchallenged thoughts out of your head, giving you clarity and shifting limiting beliefs.

By the end of this episode, you’ll have actionable strategies to unhook your self-worth from business metrics and build a more balanced, authentic approach to success.
