    In this episode, Matt and his brother Jon Roberts, Technical Director at Evolution, discuss how to create a framework for improving health-span and longevity through a weekly training program.

    They cover cardiovascular conditioning, specifically, the importance of zone two and high-intensity interval training for cardiorespiratory health, mitochondrial adaptation and fat loss.

    Beyond that, they go deep on how to maximise resistance training to develop strength, power and hypertrophy, stressing the importance of maintaining muscle mass to prevent sarcopenia and its impact on longevity.

    The conversation also highlights the need for responsive mobility to address tightness in the body and prevent it from worsening and the importance of fuelling workouts appropriately.

  • Sarah Williams - Tough Girl Challenges, Endurance Events & Happiness

    Since leaving the Banking sector, Sarah Williams has embarked on a number of phenomenal endurance challenges. After competing in a number of London Marathons, Sarah then completed the Marathon Des Sables, hiked the Appalachian trail and cycled the Pacific Coast Highway. Sarah then founded Tough Girl Challenges and The Tough Girl Podcast before recently winning a Sports Podcast Award.
